Video: “Gentlemen of Letters” Documentary on Dublin’s Sign Painters

What some now consider a lost art (though it has seen a resurgence in recent years) sign painting is one of the most unique forms of craftsmanship out there. In this short film, we get a look at the work of Dublin, Ireland’s sign painters; examining the life and work of some of its most prolific artists, including James Earley, Colm O’ Connor, Maser and Kevin Freeney.
