Hyundai’s all-electric IONIQ line expands with a new three-row SUV that combines performance and practicality with an estimated 300+ miles of range and a spacious cabin that can fit up to seven passengers. Featuring a 110.3 kWh battery, the IONIQ 9 comes in both RWD and AWD variants and can get from 0-60 in just 4.9 seconds (Performance model).
The EPA range is expected to be 335 miles in the Long-Range RWD model with 19″ wheels and it will use a NACS charging port, allowing compatibility with Tesla’s ever-expanding Supercharger network. In ideal charging situations, the IONIQ 9 will be able to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes when plugged into a DC fast charger.
Inside the futuristic “Aerosthetic” exterior is a spacious cabin with “Relaxation Seats in the first and second row that can fully recline and also has their first Dynamic Body Care system that includes a massage feature. The second row is also available with Swiveling Seats that can rotate to face the third row when the vehicle is stationary.
When it comes to interior tech, the IONIQ 9 is configured with a 12″ cluster and a 12″ integrated monitor that are fitted into a panoramic curved display, and an optional BOSE 14-speaker system enables a 5.1 channel surround sound experience.
The IONIQ 9 will go on sale in the first half of 2025.
