The MRG-B5000 series expands in January with the new MRG-B5000R-1. The new model swaps out the bracelet for a Dura Soft fluoro rubber strap that features insert-molding of titanium components to strengthen the band’s connection to the case. The watch features a mix of Ti64 titanium and Cobarion, which the brand says is 4x harder than regular titanium and gives off a finish that is comparable to platinum. Colored in black and gold, the watch packs all the best of the best G-Shock specs such as Tough Solar, Bluetooth, Multi-Band 6, and of course, extensive shock resistance.
