Focal has unveiled the Diva Utopia, its first wireless, connected, active loudspeaker with a 3-way bass-reflex design that uses Ultra Wideband technology to help properly stream high-resolution music. Compatible with Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and UPnP protocols, the speaker is ready to go right when you plug it in and yes, it will still accept inputs for all your wired analog (and digital) audio sources.
Handcrafted in France, the Diva Utopia is designed to go beyond the audio quality of what may audiophiles consider to be the gold standard in high-resolution audio reproduction: the CD. The speakers feature a patented “W” cone with beryllium “M”-profile tweeters and uses technology from its siblings at Naim such as 400-watt power amplification and a new streaming architecture for a detailed and realistic music listening experience at a level only Focal can produce.
