For the successor to the Chiron, Bugatti took inspiration from the world of watchmaking with the aptly named, Tourbillon. And just like a watch, the company applied the same level of precision and and craftsmanship to every element of the car, ensuring that no detail was overlooked. One of the biggest announcements is the company’s switch from a W16 to a V16, which was developed in collaboration with Cosworth. The 8.3L engine is accompanied by three electric motors, allowing the V16 to produce 1800 hp, which gets the Tourbillon from 0-60 in two seconds flat while quickly reaching its top speed of 276.
You’ll also be able to travel on electric power alone, the Tourbillon has a battery range of up to 37 miles for those times you need a quick little sprint down to the coffee shop. Our favorite part of the car is perfectly positioned within the steering wheel. Activate the automatic, electrically actuated dihedral door and you’ll immediately notice the 600-component, watch-like instrument cluster. The skeletonized cluster is a mechanical art piece positioned in a fixed hub within the steering wheel and features titanium construction and sapphire and ruby gemstones just like a high-end timepiece.
The Bugatti Tourbillon will begin making its way to customers in 2026 and only 250 examples will be produced.
