Breitling celebrates its 140th Anniversary with a major new addition to its flagship timepieces with the new Caliber B19. Caliber B19 is the brand’s first-ever exclusive perpetual calendar movement and features a chronograph, a full calendar and moonphase, and a power reserve of 96 hours. It’s also finished with a solid gold rotor that is engraved with Breitling’s historic Montbrillant Manufactory. The movement will first launch in three of the brand’s flagship watches:
The Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar 140th Anniversary (top), which features a 43mm case in 18k red gold, a matching 18k red gold dial, indexes, hour, minute, and subdial hands, and it’s fitted to a black alligator leather strap with an 18k red gold folding buckle.
The Premier B19 Datora 42 140th Anniversary has the smallest case of the trio with a 42mm case in 18k red gold. The dial is finished in black with tonal chronograph counters, Arabic numerals, and a black alligator leather strap with an 18k red gold folding buckle.
The sportiest option is the Super Chronomat B19 44 Perpetual Calendar 140th Anniversary, which has a 44mm 18k red gold case and an 18k red gold bezel with a black ceramic insert. The case is fitted to a Rouleaux-inspired rubber strap with an 18k red gold folding clasp.
Each watch in the collection comes with a suede-lined wooden watch box that holds up to three timepieces and features a drawer for storing accessories such as the included travel pouch. It will also include a deluxe version of the book, Breitilng: 140 Years in 140 Stories.
