A look at the reveals of the 2024 Quail Motorsports Gathering

ACQUIRE

Automotive enthusiasts from all around the world made their way once again to Carmel, California to enjoy a day of endless food and wine at the annual Quail Motorsports Gathering. As usual, the event was filled with some of the rarest vehicles on the planet while also being a launchpad for the most highly anticipated releases in the coming year. Manufacturers big and small brought their latest and greatest with fans getting to see everything from the worldwide debut of the Lamborghini Temerario to the 2,107 hp Rimac Nevera R. Here are some of our favorite reveals that you’ll definitely be hearing more about in the months (and years) to come.

Tuthill GT One

Tuthill may have stolen the show this year with their highly anticipated GT One. The Le Mans-inspired supercar is a modern take on the GT1, requiring 3,500 build-hours to complete and features a full carbon fiber body, a 4.0L 6-cylinder engine that comes in naturally aspirated or forced induction options, and produces 500-600 hp depending on the engine choice. Owners will also be able to choose from a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission or its manual shifting equivalent.

Lamborghini Temerario

The long-awaited replacement to the Huracan broke cover with the new Temerario. Powered by a twin-turbo V8 hybrid, the Revuelto’s smaller sibling exercises a bit of restraint in the styling department and might possibly be one of the more elegant options from the brand in recent years. You shouldn’t let its smaller stature fool you, it produces a whopping 900+ hp and can get from 0-62 in 2.7 seconds and can reach speeds in excess of 201 mph.

Rimac Nevera R

Croatia-based Rimac continues to keep the industry on its toes with the Nevera R, an all-electric, 2,107 hypercar, which is set to be the fastest car in the world. Featuring their next-generation 108 kWh battery pack, the Nevera R can get from 0-60 in just 1.74 seconds, 0-124 in just 4.38 seconds, and it can reach a top speed of 256 mph.

Acura Integra Type S HRC Prototype

The high-performance Integra that Acura fans have been clamoring could soon become a reality with the help of HRC (Honda Racing Corporation). Acura showed off a Type S loaded up with a selection of upgrades that includes a new front fascia with a larger front splitter, larger hood vents, side splitters, an adjustable carbon fiber wing with aluminum uprights, engine upgrades derived from the Type S HRC TCX race car, a lowered suspension, and Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires with a Brembo brake system.

Acura Performance EV Concept

Based on a new Honda-developed EV platform, Acura also revealed the Performance EV Concept. The sporty crossover previews a vehicle that will go into production at the Honda EV hub in Ohio at the end of next year. Outside of the exterior reveal, the company kept specs and performance numbers under wraps, which we hope will be revealed very soon.

Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years

Celebrating half a century of the 911 Turbo, Porsche unveiled a special edition that pays tribute to the flagship’s history. Based on the 2025 model, the special edition features an exclusive decal package, badges, and vintage-inspired upholstery options with the Heritage Design Package.

Porsche also revealed what’s possible through their exclusive Sonderwunsch program with a special edition 911 Speedster. The one-off is a rebuilt 993, which actually never had a Speedster variant during its generation. Finished in ‘Otto Yellow’ and black, Porsche built custom elements like a rear cover and windshield that borrows from existing Speedster models and also created a front spoiler, side skirts, and rear quarter panel that were based off the designs from the 993 generation 911 Turbo.

Maserati GT2 Stradale

Based on the MC20 supercar, the GT2 Stradale is now the sportiest option in the lineup with enhanced aerodynamics and a boost in performance to 640 hp and a weight reduction of 132 lbs. 0-62 happens in just 2.8 seconds and it can reach speeds of over 198 mph, giving you plenty of power to play with on the track and off.

Touring Superleggera Veloce12

Italian coachbuilder Touring Superleggera took it back to the late 90s with the Veloce12, a fully customized grand tourer based on the Ferrari 550 Maranello. The car’s signature V12 has been slightly modified, now delivering 503 hp and 419 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a 0-62 time of 4.4 seconds and a governed top speed of 199 mph.

The next Quail Motorsports Gathering takes place on August 15th, 2025.
