Apple introduces the new MacBook Pro with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips

Apple has unveiled its all-new MacBook Pro lineup, which now can be outfitted with M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips. The new entry-level MacBook Pro starts at just $1,599 with a base model that includes the standard M4 chip with a 10-Core CPU and 10-Core GPU, 16GB of unified memory, and 512GB of storage. That also gets you a 14″ Liquid Retina XDR display, three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI port, SDXC card slot, headphone jack, and a MagSafe 3 port. 

Starting at $1,999 with your choice of a 14″ or 16″ display, the base M4 Pro model (14″) features a 12-Core CPU and 16-Core GPU, 24GB of unified memory, 512GB of storage, and three Thunderbolt 5 ports alongside the standard I/O included on every model. Bump it up to the M4 Max (14″) and you get a 14-Core CPU and 32-Core GPU, 36GB of unified memory, and 1TB of storage. 

The new M4-powered MacBook Pro line is now available for pre-order and ships out to customers on November 8th.
