Analogue spent four years recreating the Nintendo 64 in FPGA, ensuring that every title in the almost 400-game library was fully compatible without the need for emulation. The company also spent time developing a reference-quality CRT experience on a 4K display, recreating the warmth and look with accuracy and more importantly, without lag.
Analogue also worked with 8Bitdo, who created a new take on the original controller complete with Bluetooth connectivity, accurately-sized buttons, and an improved Hall Effect joystick with an original-style N64 gate. And if you have original controllers you can still use those too. Additional features include a built-in Expansion Pak, compatibility with original N64 accessories, dual-band WiFi, four original-style controller ports, and an SD card slot.
