The outsole, midsole and upper are mechanically bonded (fused, not glued) and tested to withstand 1,000,000 flexes.
The Targhee’s shock-absorbing Luftcell cushioning boasts twice the lifespan and resilience of traditional EVA midsoles. But a delamination-free, still-cushy boot, complete with KEEN’s usual generous forefoot, isn’t worth much if the outsole can’t keep up.
That’s why Targhee IV features KEEN’s proprietary KEEN.RUGGED outsole material that’s twice as abrasion-resistant as rubber.
